Mundy House care home in Basildon has been recognised again for their ‘outstanding contribution to care in Essex.’ These awards recognise excellence and achievement within the care sector across the UK.
The home, in Church Road, selected as finalist in 11 categories of 3 prestigious awards including national level. Mundy House is finalist in 3 categories of National award- Caring UK, 3 categories of Great British care awards East of England Region and bagged another 5 finalist places in Essex County Council’s The Prospers 2024 awards.
They have been nominated as finalists in the following categories of GBCA awards- Activities co ordinator, Care Team of the year and Dementia care team.
In caring UK, they are finalists on excellence and innovation in dementia care, community involvement and outstanding achievement awards.
Finally, Mundy House have been shortlisted on 5 categories for unsung Hero, outstanding carer, prosper home of the year, outstanding leadership award and another surprise category.
Mundy House are winners of various awards since 2016 organised by Essex county Council’s Essex Care sector awards- The prospers.
Mundy House are finalists and winners in various awards by GBCA since 2018.

Mundy House, which caters for older people, also provides respite and palliative care, is rated good by the industry regulator, the Care Quality Commission.
