Matt Allwright reveals our top road trip destinations

Half of road-trippers say the UK is their top destination to explore, proving there are plenty of adventures to be had on our doorstep!

Over 16% identified the USA as their preferred country to visit, 13% said France, closely followed by Spain (12%). 

The research by the Caravan and Motorhome Club showed a quarter of respondents said the ability to explore more places on one holiday was the top reason to take a road trip. 

The desire to have an adventure (24%) and get into the great outdoors (23%) were also major motivators.
