Autism Show – December 2024
On Daytime, Aston was joined by regular contributor Anna Kennedy OBE from Annakennedyonline to chat all things autism for December.
Anna and Aston spoke about Strictly and spoke about the Autism Hero Awards which is taking place on 15th March 2025 in London.
Aston & Anna’s first guest was Annakennedyonline ambassador & author Tess Eagle Swan.
Aston & Anna’s second guest was campaigner Michaela McCarthy.
Aston & Anna rounded off 2024’s year in Autism.
Anna had this to say after the show:
“Another busy show talking ‘All things Autism’ with Aston and I. We had to start the show chatting ‘ All things Strictly ‘ because of our love of dance. What an amazing final and Congratulations to Chris and Diane.
Our guests today were Tess Eagle Swan and Micheala McCarthy.
We have announced our finalists for the autism hero awards and we have a new category ‘ Human Animal Bond Award ‘ sponsored by UK Pet Food.
Tess spoke about her love for Kratu and gave us a progress on her beautiful new dog Vega.

“Our second guest was Micheala McCarthy. Michaela is a mum of 3 and lives in Chelmsford Essex.
Her middle child Chester was diagnosed aged 2 and currently attends a 38-week residential placement at Bradstow school in Broadstairs Kent.
This is his third school, Chester needed a 24hr curriculum and started Bradstow sept ‘23.
Wandsworth Council are proposing to close Bradstow by august’25
Due to the financial debt of £2 million Kent have made in unpaid school fees.
