Wizard of Oz comes to Towngate Theatre

Lennox Productions in aid of Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund is delighted to present the beloved musical that has captured hearts for generations – The Wizard of Oz.

Supported by Blue Chilli Flying and featuring a live orchestra, this must loved production is literally flying on to the Towngate Stage. 

Based on the 1939 film of the same name and L Frank Baum’s classic novel, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, we join Dorothy as she embarks on the adventure of a lifetime when she hits her head during a tornado in Kansas and is transported to the magical land of Oz. As Dorothy follows the yellow brick road to reach The Wizard in the Emerald City, she meets a band of new friends, including the Tin Man, Lion and the Scarecrow.

Wizard of Oz comes to Towngate Theatre in Basildon on 30th April to 3rd May.
