Three quarters of UK homes still rely on gas heating, with only six per cent having switched to a heat pump, according to new figures from Mitsubishi Electric.

More than half of people say they’ve read conflicting information online, with many believing heat pumps only suit new builds or can’t be fitted in terraced homes.
