Basildon Town Centre sparkles into the season on 15 November with a Magical Christmas celebration and more festive fun to come!

Basildon Town Centre will come alive with festive cheer on Saturday 15 November 2025, from 10am until a spectacular fireworks finale at 6pm. The event, taking place right in the heart of Basildon Town Centre, promises a full day of seasonal magic, entertainment, and community spirit for the whole family.

The celebrations will transform the town into a winter wonderland, featuring a Christmas Market, creative workshops, live performances, and a chance to see the Towngate Theatre’s Panto stars. The day will culminate in a dazzling Firework Extravaganza at 6pm, lighting up the Basildon skyline with festive sparkle.

Residents and visitors can explore the Creative Basildon workshops, crafting special keepsakes to take home. Throughout the day, the town will be filled with the joyful sounds of local singers and carol performances – perfect for getting into the Christmas spirit.

There will also be plenty of opportunities to give back, with free community attractions including a Christmas Grotto and Festive Mini Golf – both welcoming donations in support of St Luke’s Hospice.

This community celebration is brought to life through a partnership between Basildon Council, Eastgate Shopping Centre, Creative Basildon, Towngate Theatre, Gateway 97.8, and Basildon Town Centre Management.
