Listen: vets reveal hidden Christmas hazards for our pets

With almost half (49%) of us planning to spread some festive cheer by buying our pets a present this Christmas, owners are being urged not to get so carried away that they accidentally make their dogs or cats ill by giving them a gift or something harmful to eat or play with.

More than a third (36%) of pet owners admit they feed their animals more treats or food than usual during the festive season, while 30% even serve a pet-friendly Christmas dinner.
