The remaining four couples took to the dancefloor to impress the judges as well as the public in the semi finals to not only perform once, but twice as they had to learn two dances they haven’t done so far.
Topping the judges leaderboard with a combined score of 78/80 was former lioness footballer Karen Carney and her professional dance partner Carlos Gu for their waltz and salsa respectively.
This past weekend saw Craig Revel-Horwood given the power of the casting vote for the dance off. Despite scoring a perfect 40/40 for their couples choice 2017 Love Island winner & stage actress Amber Davies and her professional dance partner Nikita Kuzmin found themselves in the dance off for the second straight week and for the third time this series and they were joined by Eastenders actress Balvinder Sopal and her professional dance partner Julian Caillon who were in the dance off for the sixth time this series. The Judges unaminously voted to save Amber meaning Balvinder became the latest celebrity to be elimimated.
So the finalists this year are as follows:
- 2017 Love Island winner & stage actress Amber Davies and her professional dance partner Nikita Kuzmin
- YouTuber George Clarke and his professional dance partner Alexis Warr
- Former lioness footballer Karen Carney and her professional dance partner Carlos Gu
They will battle for the glitterball trophy this weekend to become 2025 Strictly Come Dancing champions
