Ever wanted to increase your chance of winning? Look no further. According to new data, if you’re born between the 21st June and 22nd July, and you do charity or social work, you’re among those more likely to have won The National Lottery this year.
Karma or coincidence? When looking at occupations, the most common line of work among millionaire winners are those in care, social work and charity employees. Other roles that feature strongly among fortunate ticket holders include builders, managers, and engineering/manufacturing workers.
Those who rely on lucky numbers may want to see where theirs rank in the most drawn balls of 2025. The luckiest Lotto number was 09, followed by 42, and then 38 while 28, 44 and 56 were the most drawn as the Bonus Ball.
Amazingly from January to the end of November alone, £1.1 billion was awarded to nearly 19,000 good cause projects across the UK supporting communities, charities, arts, heritage and sport. This boosted funding to National Lottery Good Causes since launch to a huge£52bn.
