Autism Show – February 2026

All Things Autism in Essex returned for the month of February on Daytime where Aston was joined by regular contributor Anna Kennedy OBE founder of charity Annakennedyonline. They spoke the latest news from the autism world as well as fundraiser and an event that is happening.

The first of Aston and Anna guests was Sam Hayter.

Aston and Anna spoke about charity news, also all things autism and mental health related.

The second of Aston and Anna’s guests was Sean Kennedy.

The third of Aston and Anna’s guests was podcaster Ciara Lawrence.

Anna had this to say after the show:

Our guests for the month of.February were Sammy Hayter, Sean.Kennedy and Ciara Lawrence .

Sammy joined Aston in the Gateway Radio station and spoke about her February charity fundraiser with Aston.

Sammy and Aston wanted to.thank everyone who has supported them so far!!

Our second guest was Sean Kennedy .

Sean is a barrister (called 2013) and has broad experience in a number of practice areas, but his focus has been mainly in the areas of SEN, disability and employment law and also trust law.

Sean has first-hand experience of SEN gained from supporting his children who are disabled. Some years ago, and being exasperated by the lack of provision available at the time, he was one of a small team of people who set up a successful ASD specific school in order to give children like his the chance of much needed education.

He now works with a number of charities including AnnaKennedyonline who support children and adults with a range of disabilities and estimates that he has supported well over 1000 parents who have children with SEN and/or a disability in addition to the many adults he has worked with. Sean is particularly interested in the area of inclusion for both children and adults.

Sean spoke about diagnosis, transport abd EHCPs .

Our final guest was Ciara Laurence. Ciara is a disability campaigner and podcaster.

5 Years ago in the Covid lockdown,  her sparkly Pink Podcast exploded onto the online podcast world and 5 years on,  it is still a success!

It’s currently no 1 in the Monthly non profit @goodpods Podcast chart!

AnnaKennedyonline and Ciara are collaborating in March. 

Ciara Lawrence is hosting her Brand new Live Podcast Event and her first guest is Anna Kennedy OBE, we will be bringing some of our past Autism’s got Talent Performers to speak about their life since AGT and they will be performing as well

Other news shared on the show was that the judging for the Autism Hero.Awards will be happening next week. 

Finalists will be announced in March. 

We also spoke about that Auditions are now open for

our 15th year of Autism’s got Talent closing date May 31.

Twenty performers will be chosen so send in your entries singers, dancers, bands, magicians, poets etc we want to see your talent aged 5 to no upper age. All applicants to be diagnosed on the autism spectrum.

We have now booked the Mermaid Theatre Blackfriars London for our show on October 10th. Tickets will be on sale when we have announced our performers in June.

We are only a small charity of passionate volunteers including myself. We are unable to pay for travel or accomodation.
