Basildon girls’ programme launches Summer Camp Open Day

This July, Girls Life Club Project are launching their very first Summer Camp (27 July – 27 August 2026 at King Edward Community in Laindon and Southernhay Youth Centre in Basildon) and they are holding a free Open Day on Saturday 25 July at King Edward Community Centre to mark the occasion. The four-week camp gives girls in our community access to life skills sessions covering money and financial literacy, digital wellness, confidence, home independence, and future vision, practical skills that young girls in Basildon deserve access to.

The Girls Life Club Project Summer Camp is open to girls aged 11 to 16 which only 10 can take part in any session which you can book for any of the sessions by going to this website: https://girlslifeclub.co.uk/events/summer-camp-2026 The showcase day on 27th August is free entry for parents which will run from midday to 3pm that day, with the sessions leading up to that day running from 10am to 2pm.
