The Thurrock 100 festival will take place in September. Starting at East Thurrock, people will be making mandalas which is a circular figure representing the universe in hindu and budhism, during the event they’ll be walking, talking and making mandalas along the Thames Estuary – bringing communities together to reflect on issues including climate change, plastic waste, reclaiming public spaces, bio-diversity, growing sustainable communities, health and well-being, whislt collaboratively making beautiful pieces of art from locally collected materials.
