1 in 20 are embarrassed by their gardens

Next week is National Gardening Week, and a new study has found that even though many of us want to develop our gardening know-how, we as a nation remain woefully lacking in the basic knowledge of how and when to tend to our gardens. On the whole, it isn’t just the aesthetics of our gardens that we’re keen to improve, but also learning how to reap financial benefits of growing our own fruit and veg.

So, how can we narrow the current skills gap and take full advantage of what our gardens have to offer?
