A celebration of European food

3rd May 2019

25 years ago, one of the largest feats of construction in the 20th century – The Channel Tunnel – was opened as the Eurotunnel le Shuttle service began a new era for Brits driving to and from Europe. To mark the occasion, and satisfy Brits’ hunger for adventure, Michelin starred chef Theo Randall has joined forces with the iconic company to create a new collection of recipes celebrating our love of all things Euro-foodie, ‘The Europhile’s Cookbook’.

Whether we’re enjoying some Spanish tapas, scallops infused with the finest French accoutrements, or getting stuck into a Greek baklava, the United Kingdom has always been enamoured with the flavours of continental Europe and all it has to offer.

Aston spoke to Michelin star chef and contributor to ‘The Europhile’s Cookbook’, Theo Randall to discuss why we have and seemingly always will love European foods.
