A new dog safety campaign launches

Around 415,500 dogs in the South East are endangered annually when allowed to travel with heads out of moving vehicles, despite many owners believing it provides fresh air (59%) or calms them (41%).

In fact, a quarter (26% )of UK motorists admit to travelling with their dog in this critically unsafe way. 

The Safer Inside campaign launched today at Crufts by Tavo Pets and backed by Vet Surgeon Dr Scott Miller and Dog Behaviourist Adem Fehmi, also reveals the reasons why owners do it.
