Adults urged to reclaim lost time and learn something new in 2024

New research released today reveals 75% of UK adults feel as though they’ve yet to reach their full potential when it comes to their career.

Inspired by the new year mindset, nearly three quarters (74%) say they will be considering how to enhance their career options and goals for the year ahead.

However, for many, a perceived lack of time is holding them back from turning these career goals into reality.

The poll, commissioned by the Skills for Life campaign, revealed that a lack of time and the potential costs of training opportunities are two of the top barriers preventing people from taking the next step in their career or making a career change.
