Alice Morrison on solo travelling during the winter

New data from Intrepid Travel has revealed a major increase (51%) in Brits travelling on adventure
holidays over Christmas, particularly among women aged over 45 (39% increase).

Interestingly, of all customers looking to book a Christmas getaway, 61% were female, and of those,
more than a third (36%) were female solo travelers.

This data suggests that there is a growing desire amongst midlife women to explore the world on their
own, even during the festival period typically spent at home with family.
