Are millions of us considering weight loss pills?

New weight loss pills expected to reach the UK this year could open the door to treatment for millions more people living with obesity.

Research suggests that once pill-based medications become available (expected this year), six million additional adults could start taking medicated weight loss treatments, pushing the total number of patients using these drugs beyond eight million by the end of 2026.

The findings come from a nationwide survey of 2,500 adults conducted for online pharmacy Chemist4U.
