Are we forgetting to pack our holiday essential items?

Travel adaptors, sunglasses, and your toothbrush topped the charts of the most often forgotten items to pack for a holiday.

Only 3% of Brits have previously forgotten their all-important passport or travel documents, while almost 1 in 10 (8%) of us have neglected to pack our swimwear.

Toiletries ranked high on the list too, with more than 1 in 10 of us (14%) forgetting them while travelling.

The research comes from campaign group Project Shout which also discovered there are certain home comforts that Brits simply REFUSE to holiday without.

A whopping 47% of Brits claim to have never forgotten anything when packing for their holidays – but with a measly 4% packing a CO alarm, perhaps the holiday packing list needs an update.

Aston spoke to Emma Cook, campaign manager at Project Shout.
