Atomic Kitten star Natasha Hamilton on spreading the Christmas cheer in the community

Christmas can be a magical time of year – but for many towns across Britain, that magic has begun to dim.

New research from Asda shows that 73% of Brits feel their local celebrations have been scaled back, with rising costs leaving high streets looking less festive.

In fact, nearly half the population (49%), say their town feels less Christmassy than it used to, while 70% believe cost-cutting is dampening the festive spirit.
