Autism Acceptance Week

To mark the start of Autism Acceptance Week (27^th March – 2^nd April 2023), a new global research report has been released which highlights a degree of challenges that are preventing autistic adults entering the UK workforce.

Currently, just under a quarter (22%) of autistic adults are employed, and it’s estimated that there are over 700,000 autistic adults in the UK – more than 1 in every 100 people.

The report, titled ‘Neurodiversity in Work Survey’ and undertaken by auticon, surveyed 1,000 autistic adults about their experience of all aspects of working life.
