Autism show – January 2023

The first All Things Autism in Essex show had Daytime presenter Aston Avery and regular contributor Anna Kennedy OBE from autism charity Annakennedyonline speak about news within the autism community and speak to guests.

Aston and Anna spoke about news and upcoming events for autism charity Annakennedyonline.

The first guest Aston and Anna spoke to was Ben Pearson, founder of Big Clothing 4 U and Up Their Clothing who recently appeared on the TV show Dragon’s Den.

Aston and Anna spoke about what help there is in the autism community.

The second guest Aston and Anna spoke to was Autism’s Got Talent performer and magician Angus Baskerville.

Aston and Anna recapped on the show.

Anna had this to say after the show:

“The focus on this month’s show was very much on wellbeing and mental health and not to suffer alone please reach out and talk to friend’s families or an organisation you feel you can trust. “Angus’ magic career began in 2014, after studying at the famous Davenports in London. He gained membership of the local Leamington and Warwick Magic Society in 2015 and was accepted as a member of the prestigious MAGIC CIRCLE in February 2020. He is very proud of this achievement as it allows him to walk in the footsteps of the best and most famous magicians in the business – Dynamo, David Copperfield and Paul Daniels.

“In his work as an autism advocate for Anna Kennedy OBE,  he has had the opportunity to perform magic for celebrities such as Frank Bruno MBE, Sir Mo Farah OBE, Jack Willis, Frankie Dettori MBE, Peter Jones CBE and the legendary comedian, Jasper Carrott.
