Autism show – July 2026
With the summer holidays nearly in full swing Aston was joined regular contributor Anna Kennedy OBE founder of autism charity Annakennedyonline on Daytime to chat All Things Autism in Essex. They spoke about the summer holiday season, spoke to guests and also revealed the line up of the 2026 Autism’s Got Talent show that is taking place on 10th October at Mermaid Theatre in Blackfriars, London.
The first of Aston and Anna’s guests was Chloe Murphy.
The second of Aston and Anna’s guests was Autism’s Got Talent performer Andrew McMurdie.
The third of Aston and Anna’s guests was recently announced Autism’s Got Talent performer The Childish.
Anna had this to say after the show:
“Another busy show for Aston and I talking ‘All things Autism’ for the month of July.
We were excited to announce our performers for our 15th year of Autism’s Got Talent October 10th at The Mermaid Theatre Blackfriars. Tickets on sale via the charity website www.annakennedyonline.com
We had 3 amazing guests on the show.
Our first guest today talking ‘All things Autism’ on Gateway Radio was Chloe Murphy. Her daughter Imogen was diagnosed with XLH early this year after a long battle with the Hospital to get her diagnosis, she was originally told that she would “grow out of it”.
Now having this diagnosis, she is starting treatment at GOSH (Great Ormond Street Hospital) which is fortnightly injections.
She is non verbal autistic also.
Chloe is organising a fundraiser for a wheelchair and for the charity group XLH.
They are hosting a pub quiz, with raffle prizes, a live singer & a photographer will be there too to document the night!
Chloe is hoping to celebrate her daughter Imogen and raise awareness of XLH and rare diseases.

Our second guest on Gateway 97.8 Radio talking ‘All things Autism ‘was Andrew McMurdie.
Andrew is a past Autism’s Got Talent performer and his love for singing started when he was just 17.
His old time crooner style voice has earned him spots in many shows.
Andrew is popular and loved by so many in the music world. His happy place is when he steps onto a stage.
Andrews aim is now to raise Autism awareness and acceptance and through his love of music and performances hopefully raise much needed funds for the charity to support young people diagnosed with Autism.
Andrew performed at Autism’s got Talent in 2024 and is singing again for us this year.
Our final guest talking ‘All things Autism’ on Gateway 97.8 was John Harris father of the group ‘The Childish!”
They are 3 young multicultural siblings, Johnson aged just 18, Kale 16 and their little sister Indiana 12; who have various disabilities; Autism, Dyslexia. This hasn’t stopped them from saying what they believe to be truth and rights!
They write raps that put wrongs to right; and stand resolute for the undervalued, un-noticed humans in a non-caring world, and aim to bring acknowledgement and accountability for all humans and our dying world!
The Childish have performed for us in the past and are performing for us this year at our 15th celebration Autism’s Got Talent show on October 10th.
They’re currently finishing a UK school tour, before the summer term; performing their anti-knife crime song with the blessing of Milton Keynes Mayor and MK Council as they believe what they’re doing as kids; is enormous, as they’re speaking directly to their peers.
We also shared that AnnaKennedyonlone’s second year Autism and Art Show is taking place next Thursday VIP evening at The Firepit Gallery. It is free to attend and arrival time 5:30 pm.
We have 32 amazing paintings and pictures to showcase and sell. Funds are kindly being raised for our charity.
Thank you to our Patron Steven Smith for coordunating this event.
Tickets again on the charity website.
As you can see its been another busy month. Speak to you all again soon in August.
Best wishes and keep well.”
