Anna had this to say after the show:

“‘I was happy to be back in the Gateway studio with Aston for the March edition of ‘All things Autism in Essex.

Our first guests today were one of my charity ambassadors Tess Eagle Swan alongside Lynne Barrett-Lee who is a best selling Author and novelist for The Sunday Times.. Tess lives in Cambridgeshire with her dogs, she is mother to 2 and has 1 grandchild. We first met Tess when her and Kratu performed on Autism’s got Talent in London.

Tess and Lynne co wrote the book Incredible Kratu – Kratu won the hearts of the nation when he went rogue at Crufts! The amazing book is out for sale on Monday and the link to purchase is here https://loom.ly/dbb7RoQ

Tess’s New Book

I am so very proud of Tess since sharing her story on paper has been a real rollercoaster of emotions. As Lauren shared this is no ordinary about an owner and their dog, this is so much more and a must read. I cannot wait to attend the book launch and read the book myself!

Our second guest on today’s show was James Prior. James is an established TikTok influencer with 1.3 million followers. He is known for his cheeky personality but mostly being an amazing dad to a child with complex needs. James has struggled with his mental health and in the past he has found it easier to mask his experiences and manage his stress. James is launching his new fashion range with Born Anxious next weekend in Canary Wharf at a fashion show organised by @chabsuk tickets still available for the event via this link: https://www.cancelcancerafrica.org/

The Harvey Price Black and Gold collection will also be launched at the event and Harvey will be their modelling his range.

Also on today’s show Aston played Ethan Khumalo’s new track ‘How Can We’ which is available here: https://youtu.be/_YDKplbtpqs Ethan is a past Autism’s got Talent performer plus one of our charity ambassadors and we are very proud of what he is achieving.

Obviously, we must mention the terrible war going on in Ukraine, our hearts go out to everyone involved and if you need advice on speaking with your autistic children and adults please see this link: https://www.annakennedyonline.com/ukraine-resources-and-visual-aids/

Just a reminder our entries are still open for Autism’s got Talent this year and entries close on 30th April… our 11th show is on Saturday 15th October in London and tickets will be available soon via our website.
Our Expo will be on Saturday 25th June at Brunel University, our headline speaker for this year is Carrie Grant. We are really looking forward to this event this year after the last 2 years of it being online. Tickets are on sale now and include the chance to hear 4 speakers, attend free of charge clinics and look around the amazing stalls that will be on offer.

Myself and Lisa will be attending The British Diversity Awards on Thursday 10th March where we have been nominated in The Charity of the Year category which is amazing!! I’ll fill you in on that next month and how the evening goes.

Take care and best wishes to you all See you in April”
