Autism show – November 2019

20th November 2019
Posted by Aston Avery

All Things Autism in Essex special had its November edition on Thursday 7th November.

Aston’s first guest was Mavourneen Moore who is a supporter and trustee at Braintree mencap. She also has a son who is on the autistic spectrum, they spoke about what Braintree Mencap does and also spoke about how she copes today with her son being on the autistic spectrum.

Also on the show, Aston spoke to Annie Sands and Marisa who are from Autism Anglia, an charity organisation who help enhance lives to those on the autistic spectrum and also raise awareness across the autism board.

Joining them on the show was Anna Kennedy OBE who had this say after the show:

Another great show with Aston talking ‘All things Autism in Essex’ I am proud to champion Autism Anglia and their new Autism Passport which is a much needed resource. Aston and I will be supporting Autism Anglia in March as comperes for their Charity Variety Show.. It was good to speak to Mavoureen and listen to all the updates happening at Mencap. One useful resource is their section on Trusts and Wills which as parents we need to have something secure in place for our sons and daughters when we are no longer around.
