Autism Show – October 2025
On Daytime, Aston was joined by regular contributor Anna Kennedy OBE founder of autism charity Annakennedyonline to chat All Things Autism in Essex. They highlighted the recent Autism’s Got Talent show that took place on 11th October at the Mermaid Theatre in Blackfrairs, London.
Their guests today were performers of this years Autism’s Got Talent.
The first of Aston and Anna’s guests was Autism’s Got Talent performer Kirk Cramer.
The second of Aston and Anna’s guests was Autism’s Got Talent performer Xander Hall.
The third of Aston and Anna’s guests was Autism’s Got Talent performer Daisy Hutchinson.
Anna had this to say after the show:
“Another busy show talking ‘All things Autism in Essex’
This month’s show focussed on Autism’s got Talent. Our three guests were :
Kirk Cramer:
Kirk is a 56-year-old singer and actor, but as someone reclaiming his voice in the midst of profound personal change. It wasn’t until a formal autism diagnosis late last summer that he began to truly understand his neurodivergent identity—and that a lifetime of confusing and painful experiences finally started to make sense.
That discovery has opened the door to healing, but it’s also come with some very painful results in the past year: the loss of his job of 5 years, as well as his 16-year marriage, and the emotional toll of starting over as a single father to his three young sons.
This marks his very first trip to the UK, and he’s travelled here from Richmond, Virginia for this moment—grateful, proud, and deeply honoured to stand among the extraordinary family of talented individuals gathered here for this performance.
Xander Hall:
Xander is an actor/singer who is a 2022 drama school graduate with a 3-year degree in Acting for Stage and Screen at Performance Preparation Academy. He got a 2:1 including a 1st in his dissertation called “Engaging SEN children in drama games to aid social development”.
Xander’s strengths are in voice impressions, singing feel-good pop and rock as well as ballads, playing covers and originals on his guitar, whilst singing at the same time and offering inspiring words of wisdom that he’s learned on his journey.
Daisy Hutchinson:
Daisy is 21 years old and is autistic. Daisy is a young Autism Ambassador for Anna Kennedy Online. She will be performing street dance tonight for you, she has a big passion for it. It helps her express herself and calms her when she gets anxious.
Daisy also enjoys eating pasta, reading, jogging, singing, Geology, Goosebumps, Harry Potter, Toy Story, Disney and Mamma Mia. Daisy enjoys watching Love on the Spectrum. She enjoys going to the cinema, theatre and concerts.
Daisy enjoys spending time with her dog, her family and her friends. Daisy is a friendly, kind hearted person.
Aston and Philip Barnet and I were full of sparkles as MC’s on the night.
I was so proud of all my performers and my team of volunteers. A big shout out to Lisa my right hand woman. What a night!!!!
Our 14th year show was another smash hot. I cannot keep up with all the messages.
Lisa and I are now working on Autism Hero Awards closing date is 31st January.
Please see charity website for further details.
See you all in November.
Lots of Love Anna x”
