The second of Aston and Anna’s guests was Jasmine Fenwick.

The third of Aston and Anna’s guests was charity ambassdor and Autism’s Got Talent performer Kieron Lee.

Anna had this to say after the show:

“Aston and I had another busy show for the month of September talking ‘All things Autism in Essex’

After an amazing Roadshow in Whitley Bay in collaboration with True Colours Theatre we chatted to Katie and Charlie Conway, Jasmine Fenwick and Kieron Lee.

Charlie Conway:

Charlie is 15 years old and he was diagnosed with autism aged 3 Charlie suffered a brain injury at birth, doctors did not think he would be able to walk/talk but he did everything at his own pace. Charlie is a proud young ambassador for AKO & it is his ambition to help other autistic individuals & promote inclusion.

The past few years have been really difficult for him with his mental health & pursuing music & singing has really helped him. Charlie produces & writes his own music, his first single ‘Pressure’ he wrote & produced as a charity single for AKO to say thank you for the wonderful opportunities the charity has given him.

He is pursuing qualifications in music production & singing with Danny Yates at City Sound Studios. When he is not studying music he loves spending time with his assistance dog ‘Pepper’ & playing Minecraft.

Alfie Fenwick:

Alfie was diagnosed with autism & ADHD as a small child. In the 8 years of school he felt rejected and alone. No friends, no party invitations from his peers. He never understood how or why he was different. He was self critical, felt useless, and even said he didn’t want to be here anymore. His families hearts were breaking & didn’t know how he’d ever overcome these demons. He was loved by so many for the gentle, funny, caring boy he was, but he simply refused to believe it.

Alfie started at True Colours Theatre and within weeks, the tables turned. He was happiest when there. Singing to anyone who would listen–embracing this love he’d found to perform. Never afraid of performing, never feeling like he wasn’t good enough. Now he’s singing everywhere he goes, he’s SMILING everywhere he goes. His heart is finally happy. Music and acting stepped in for him, gave him endless confidence, made him feel safe, accepted for who he is. Singing saved his life, quite literally. Alfie told us “I’m just so passionate about singing. I love True Colours and all of my friends there, the place is like home to me, and they are like family” .

Mr. Kieron Lee:

Kieron is a Birmingham-based singer, songwriter, and producer blending emotional honesty with R&B, pop, and atmospheric EDM. His debut album ACRONYMS (2023) featured tracks like NYN and Y&I, while singles such as Sight Of You, State Of My Mind, and Paradise showcase his evolving electronic sound.

Alongside his artistry, Kieron earned a First-Class BA (Hons) in Popular Music and serves as an Anna Kennedy Online Ambassador, supporting the charity through advocacy and creativity. He also applies his skills in web development, contributing to platforms like AKO and Born Anxious.

As founder of MKL Education & Enterprises Ltd, he champions accessible music learning for aspiring musicians with complex and additional needs—balancing artistry, education, and advocacy to inspire and empower others.
