Basildon Emergency Night Shelters

The Basildon Emergency Night Shelters will be running a night shelter this winter beginning Monday 2nd December, and it is hoped, funding permitting, the last night will be Sunday 30th March. Last winter we cared for sixty three individuals over the four months we opened, and we want to be there for the homeless this year. Volunteers are needed to do this; there are three shifts to cover, seven nights a week:

• Evening – 8:30pm to 11pm
• Overnight – 11pm to 7am 
• Morning – 7am to 8:30am
