Billericay Library celebrates its 50th anniversary

On 14th August, Billericay Library will be celebrating it’s 50th anniversary and will hosting an event on 14th August to celebrate it.

There will be a historical display with photos and information about the library from when it first opened, through to the more recent displays and telling customers about the services on offer from Essex Libraries.

Also there will be talks from a small number of “human books” able to retell what the library used to be like and how the day to day has changed as well as other things going on throughout the day.
