BLAST Youth Theatre

Are you aged 8 to 12 and love theatre? Do you dream of telling your story on stage? BLAST Youth Theatre at the Towngate Theatre is calling you!

Thanks to funding from the National Lottery through Arts Council England, sessions are completely FREE and open to all. Held every Thursday during term time from 5.00 pm to 6.30 pm, BLAST Youth Theatre provides a fun, creative space for young people to develop their confidence, communication skills, and creativity.

But that’s not all! They’re thrilled to announce Ripple Effect, an inspiring new theatre project created by BLAST Youth Theatre. Designed to empower young voices in Southend and Basildon, this project invites participants to share their unique stories and celebrate the diversity of their communities.
