Breast Cancer Care: Wear it Pink 2022

A new YouGov survey reveals two in five (41%) women in the UK do not check their breasts regularly* for possible signs and symptoms of breast cancer.

The research commissioned by Breast Cancer Now shows a quarter (27%) of those who do perform a breast examination say they don’t feel confident that they would notice a new or unusual change in their breasts.

On Friday 21st October, Breast Cancer Now is marking its 21st annual ‘Wear it Pink’ event which sees fundraisers wear pink to raise money for the charity and life-saving research – raising over £37.5 million since it began in 2001.

Wear it Pink is one of the UK’s biggest and brightest fundraising events. Every year thousands of people support Breast Cancer Now by dressing in their finest pink clothes or wackiest costumes to fundraise and help the charity fund life-changing support and world-class research like the recent YouGov research.
