Britain’s water confidence divide is revealed
Britain has some of the safest tap water in the world, but a new study suggests many people still don’t enjoy drinking it.
Research by Our Taap has revealed a major divide in how people feel about their tap water, with only 40% of Britons saying they regularly and happily drink it straight from the tap.
The study found Edinburgh has the highest levels of satisfaction, scoring 9.18 out of 10, while Bexley in south-east London ranks lowest, with a score of 4.87.
But despite stark postcode differences, 85% of Brits still “work around” their tap water and find ways to make it more palatable.
Aston spoke to TV’s Dr Rupy Aujla, founder of Doctor’s Kitchen.
