Brits struggle to make sense of the data created every day

With 2.5 quintillion bytes of data created every day, digesting information is proving to be a challenge and could be hampering attempts to tackle global issues.

According to new research by Experian, more than half (52%) of Britons admit they struggle to understand the numbers and statistics associated with the world’s biggest problems.

And it is not just numbers that are proving difficult to interpret, huge numbers also acknowledge they’re also feeling bamboozled by the language used around them.

Aston spoke to David McCandless, TED talk-er and creator of ‘Information is Beautiful’.
