The last few years have been a real challenge for many people. Whether it’s the pandemic or the rising
cost of living, many are feeling the strain across various aspect of their lives. According to new data from Sainsburys, one
area which has been hit the hardest is people’s relationships with over two fifths of couples admitting the
spark has gone.

Almost half (47%) say the stresses of the last few years have led them to this point, with 30% claiming
they’re left feeling in a rut in their relationship. Over half (54%) have put this down to falling into a boring
routine, though a third (33%) claim a lack of quality time is the problem.

“Celebs Go Dating” relationship expert, Anna Williamson, is teaming up with Sainsburys and offering
Couples’ Cooking Counselling sessions which aim to bring inspiration and excitement back into
relationships. The sessions aim to inspire people to expand their palette and try delicious new
ingredients and recipes through Sainsburys new Inspired to Cook range, while receiving a virtual love
