Chef Paul Rankin on veganuary motivation
Veganuary is the month where many of us try to change our eating habits, switching to plant-based alternatives, sampling foods we may never have tried before and resisting temptation of some of our favourite meat and dairy based dishes.
However, two thirds (66%) of us would not even attempt the January challenge of going vegan and, for 28%, it is for one simple reason…FOMO. The fear of missing out on our favourite foods, according to research by Co-op.
The Sunday roast is the traditional British meal we would miss the most (27%) followed by fish and chips (20%) and a full English Breakfast (16%).
