Comedian Mark Watson reveals the best dad jokes this Father’s Day

Thousands of ‘funny’ dads have been sharing their best gags in a bid to be crowned winner of the Aldi Mamia Best Dad Joke competition.

Over 2,700 joke lovers submitted their very best – and worst – dad jokes in celebration of Father’s Day and with so much pride at stake, #BestDadJokes was trending on Twitter during the heat of the competition.

Top comedian and expert dad joker, Mark Watson, was enlisted to judge the competition and picked 37-year-old Austin May, a dad of 2 boys who works as a chip shop sales manager in Bedworth, Warwickshire as his overall winner.
