Community grants helping and supporting local schools and community projects

Supermarket shoppers are being given one golden hour to win a share of half a million pounds for their local school or community group this Saturday, 23^rd September.

As part of Tesco’s’ ‘Stronger Starts’ campaign, shoppers in 100 selected stores (Wickford Southend Road Express, Essex) can take a lucky dip to find a gold version of the famous blue voting token.

Customers will be given one hour from 12:00 – 13:00 to find one of the 100 gold tokens and those successful will be able to choose which local school or community project will receive a £5,000 Golden Grant to spend on equipment or healthy food to help give children a stronger start in life.
