Couples gearing up for Blackpool on Strictly Come Dancing

Following the elimination of actor Adam Thomas, the remaining 8 couples took to the floor to impress the judges as well as the public.

Topping the judges leaderboard for the forth time this year was West End star and Bad Education actor Layton Williams and his dance partner Nikita Kuzmin scoring 39 out of 40 for their Argentine tango.

For the second week running legendary broadcaster Angela Rippon and her dance partner Kai Widdrington found themselves in the dance off along with newsreader Krishnan Guru-Murthy and his dance partner Lauren Oakley. The judges voted to keep Angela meaning Krishnan’s time on Strictly Come Dancing comes to an end.

Strictly Come Dancing returns this weekend where the remaining 7 couples will dance in Blackpool.
