Cricketer Stuart Broad on why we love our pubs

When it comes to choosing a pub, Brits love nothing more than good food, cleanliness, and a great atmosphere.

This is according to new research.

Also topping the list of punters’ demands is a beer garden to soak up the summer sunshine (30%), clean bathrooms (29%) and plenty of seating (25%).

The study, commissioned by P&G Professional to launch its Community Tap Awards*, also revealed that over half of Brits (60%) have a local pub with a further 21% saying they are considered to be a regular.
