Despite the recent heatwave, the hottest July day on record and all the warnings that came with it, research suggests that many in the UK maintain a dangerous disregard for hydration, putting themselves at greater risk of illness.
Today new research finds that the majority of the nation (62%) is not drinking the recommended daily allowance* of water. The concerning figures, commissioned by Britvic’s family brand, Robinsons, also suggest a fifth (20%) of Brits haven’t had a drink of water in over a week; 4% haven’t had any in over a month.
