Dinner table conversations creating connections for families

With new technology and the vast amount of entertainment readily available at our fingertips, the family dinnertime is a tradition that is arguably fading.

However, new research by HelloFresh, the UK’s leading recipe box provider, has found that families are keen to get back around the dinner table with two in three parents (63%) saying that it’s a key way in making them feel more connected to their children.

With life being so busy, whether it’s at work, school or just being outside the house, it’s no surprise that over a half (52%) also say that dinner time is the best way to get the most updates from their kids. This no doubt highlights the importance of taking time to break away from other priorities and the distractions of modern technology, with half (53%) also saying that they consider themselves better listeners at dinner time over any other point in the day.
