When was the last time you discovered a local walk on your doorstep that you never knew existed?

As the school summer holidays begin, new research has revealed a major untapped opportunity to get people across the UK more active over the coming weeks.

Research from Slow Ways has found that over half (52%) of adults want to discover new walking routes this summer, taking in the extended summer break to explore the UK’s hidden routes, however, a lack of inspiration and knowledge of local walking routes stifles people’s sense of adventure.
