Do you consider AI to be your friend?

Millions of Brits now consider AI to be a ‘friend’.

More than three-quarters (76%) of the nation use some form of the technology, with nearly half (48%) using it on a weekly basis.

So ingrained has it become that a quarter of AI users – equivalent to a fifth (19%) of all Brits – now class it as one of their mates.

The study, released ahead of Currys AI-Mazing Awards, reveals just how personal interactions between human and machine have become.
