Families already choosing between heating and food

Getting paid in December isn’t exactly a Christmas present, that’s for sure. But, we’re all expected to up our outgoings quite considerably throughout the festive period and this can lead to some budgeting roadblocks.

But new research from Jacks suggests that people are expecting money challenges in the coming months, with 50% of families saying that the rising cost of living is their greatest concern.

The key concern for families is food – being able to feed themselves and also getting good quality nutrition.
