First Date’s Laura Tott on cooking for Valentines Day

They say a way to a person’s heart is through their stomach, which is perhaps why food can play a big role in relationships.

With people wanting to impress with cuisine choices on first dates, cooking together for a date night or showing off skills in the kitchen, food is a popular way to spice up a relationship.

Latest research by Co-op reveals that on a first date, a quarter (25%) of us choose to wow through food and for those already coupled up in a relationship 37% opt to cook a delicious meal for date night.

Aston spoke to First Date’s waitress and Celebrity Cooking School winner Laura Tott.
