Food experts confirm an egg is a superfood
A new research review – Eggs: healthy or risky? – has reviewed evidence from high quality studies on hen’s eggs, randomised controlled trials, and meta-analyses carried out over more than a decade to reveal the many benefits of eating eggs in relation to a host of different health conditions.
The study, published in the scientific journal Nutrients has now reinstated the nutritional superhero status of eggs, after years of vilification.
