Former butler to King Charles III on why EV owners might be running on empty
New research from Direct Line Motor Insurance reveals that nearly a quarter (23%) of EV owners have been refused permission to charge their vehicle when visiting their friends of family members.
With Christmas around the corner, many EV owners are carefully planning their journeys and will be relying on re-charging their vehicles once they arrive at their loved ones’ homes.
However less than half (46%) of Brits say they would be comfortable letting visitors charge their EV at their home, no questions asked.
Aston spoke to former royal butler to King Charles III and etiquette expert Grant Harrold and Lorraine Price, head of motor insurance at Direct Line.
