New data has revealed that if everyone in the UK swapped just one more red-meat meal to a plant-based alternative per week, it would cut the UK’s greenhouse gases by 45 million tonnes – the equivalent of taking 16 million cars off the road.

The appetite for more sustainable diets is clearly there, as 56% also said they would be more likely to commit if they better understood the potential positive impacts on the environment.
