Gladiators star Montell Douglas on making brain gains

“Brain gains” have been revealed as one of the most popular goals for 2025, with 45% of adults planning to learn something new in the year ahead.

Whilst January is known as a time where people often commit to improving their physical health, a new survey shows people are wanting to take a more comprehensive approach to personal development.

The poll of 2,000 adults commissioned by the government’s Skills for Life campaign shows ambitions are high heading into the new year.
