Grime Gran helps to create a guide on preventing scams

British politeness is a point of national pride. We grow up hearing that manners cost nothing, that courtesy goes a long way and that if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all.

Every day in the UK, around one million calls are flagged as suspicious on EE’s network. Across the wider system more than three million scam attempts are blocked daily, and hundreds of millions of malicious texts, emails and unsafe websites have been stopped over the past year.

Mind Your Manners, a new guide from Debrett’s and Grime Gran, updates these old habits for a world of scam calls and highly convincing digital messages.
